Tania has worked as a medical doctor in the NHS, here in the UK, and has also lived and worked abroad doing medical work and research in various communities in India, China and Africa where infectious diseases such as leprosy/AIDS/TB are endemic.
Two years before COVID-19 pandemic, in Prime Minister's Question time, Tania advocated an urgent need to increase UK's vaccine manufacturing and the then Prime Minister, Rt Hon Theresa May MP, accepted and agreed that this was indeed a priority for the Government. https://www.youtube.com/watch?list=TLGGdXTvFYEtiQQzMTAxMjAyMQ&v=kxuECT3…;
Tania was interim Chair of the Science and Technology Select Committee and hosted Professor Adrian Hill in Parliament to discuss vaccine preparedness: again this was two years before COVID-19.
During the pandemic Tania continued her medical work in the NHS and was also a volunteer vaccinator-trainer.
